Friday 14th to Monday 17th of September - 36th National Chevrolet Festival Bundaberg-Bargara QLD
The organising committee from the Queensland Chevrolet Car Club Inc and the Central Queensland Chevrolet Car Club Inc invite all Chevrolet and car enthusiasts to the upcoming 36th National Chevrolet Festival to be held at Bundaberg-Bargara in the North Burnett area of Queensland.
The National Chevrolet Festival commences with early registrations on Friday 14th September and wraps up on Monday 17th September. As has been the case with previous Festivals, enthusiasts travel from all over Australia to participate in this event to admire and celebrate the most recognised GM marque... CHEVROLET.
More than 40 trophies will be awarded in a multitude of categories in the Show ‘n Shine with vehicles from the early 1900’s to the present models on show. Trade displays and giveaways, raffles, observation runs, beach walks, free BBQ’s, a presentation dinner, Bundaberg Rum Distillery tour and rock ‘n roll dancing demonstrations will be just some of the activities arranged for the participants and visitors. Beautiful quiet beaches, relaxed life style and country hospitality awaits you in this great location.

Heritage Oak School 3rd Annual Cruise-In - Tehachapi, CA
Heritage Oak School 3rd Annual Cruise-In & Car Show in Tehachapi on Sept.15th
Held on Saturday, September 15th, 2012, the Annual Heritage Oak School Cruise-In and Car Show is revving up to become one of Tehachapi’s premiere auto events. Now going on it’s third year, this up and coming show is already one of Tehachapi’s favorites, with participants from all over Kern County coming up to the mountain to enjoy the weather and culture.
The 3rd Annual Cruise-In & Car Show is held from 10am to 2pm, with check in beginning at 8:30am. Registration is only $20 per vehicle. Pre-register before Sept.1st, 2012 and receive a Free show Tee Shirt. Swag Bags (sponsored by Mother’s Car Care Products) will be awarded to the first 75 participants.
Classics, antiques, rods and all other cars of interest are invited to this affair, that takes place the third Saturday of every September. This Cruise-In & Car Show offers car buffs, owners and aficionados the opportunity to show and witness the cream of the crop in the extremely comfortable month of September. A veritable potpourri of top quality collectible cars will certainly be there. Come early and park where you want, then stay as long as you want. Cool, calm and flexible, this just might be the easiest, most relaxed and “funnest” Car Show you’ll attend all year (or ever!)
Everyone is welcome at this event, including specialty vehicles. The 2012 promoters have increased the award base and will be handing out many awards in several categories, including the new “Work in Progress” category. This guarantees every entry a greater chance of winning something! Also new in 2012, show voting will be done by a panel of school teachers, Kern County business sponsors as well as local Tehachapi dignitaries. All trophies and photo awards are presented that afternoon. Don’t worry, the popular “People’s Choice” award will still be given along with the new “Teacher’s Choice Award.”
