The joint NCM-Hooked on Driving HPDE at Autobahn has become an annual event and continues to grow in attendance. The Great Lakes Chapter of HOD reserves the full course at Autobahn Country Club, scheduled for Monday, October 1st in 2012. The Autobahn full course is a 3.1 mile course with 21 corners. Those familiar with NCM HPDE schools will find the format familiar with instructors/coaches in student cars, mandatory classroom and plenty of run time. Advanced students will have the opportunity to get coaching from pro-drivers. Engineers and designers from the Corvette Team at General Motors will again be on hand to instruct as well as show new designs and talk to participants. Spectators are welcome and (spectator) rides with instructors will be available.
Hooked on Driving and the NCM require Snell SA rated helmets, 2005 or 2010 and rentals are available. Convertibles must have factory roll protection or approved roll bar installed.
