Room Information
BG travelers,
Today I reserved a group of rooms for us at the newest hotel in Bowling Green, The Country Inn and Suites. The rooms are fabulous, but if someone wants a suite with a living room, please let me know. The hotel has complimentary hot breakfast, spa with hot tub, exercise room, heated pool, in-room refrigerators, microwaves, and coffee, free internet, and the list goes on. With the help of Chris Sweeney at the NCM, we are arranging a special rate for the museum trip (they work with the NCM). These reservations are for Sunday and Monday the 27th & 28th of March. Those of us that decide to stay another day will have the option of one more night.

Rooms are $79/night you must call and book a room by March 14th 2011 -- Call Cynthia Sprouse at (270) 781-7200

Plans for the caravan and museums

Here what I have, so far.....
The Saturday trip will be from DC to Huntington,WV (7 hrs), where I am currently working on reservations near good restaurants and the Huntington Museum.... we must try to arrive there by 4PM to take advantage of the Museum which closes at 5PM.... (last time I went, it was very nice). (Remember, to get there on time, we should depart at 8AM on Saturday) After visiting the Huntington Museum, we can all go to dinner, relax, enjoy each others company and go back to our motel for a good nights sleep. Up very early (no later than 6AM) and on to Bowling Green and the National Corvette Museum (NCM) for a guided tour mid-afternoon. We should have time to shop in the museum store and then go to dinner, maybe have drink together, and get another good night's sleep. Up early for breakfast, and an 8:30AM tour of the Corvette Assembly Plant. After the tour, we can go back to the museum(NCM), browse for a bit, have some lunch, and off for a countryside tour and go to Makers Mark Distillery.

So far, we have 16 people and 9 cars.... I have reserved a block of 10 rooms. Be sure to tell me if you are alone (Robert Williams, Dan Girardi), or traveling with someone.

Please inform me of special Medical Problems and needs......Diabetic, allergies, etc. I arranged for rooms to accommodate anyone with need to refrigerate medication.....

Still working on the rest.. will post more info soon.

your NCM Ambassador.....
