Got a call last night from a driver....he is in Salina...He went to lock the truck at the truck stop and broke the key off in the lock.............. say what? Oh my Lord says I.....He got the key out of the lock but now what......I'll tell you what.....He gets a cheap motel room and I get to run a key down to him this morning........let's see......small truck company for sale....excellent tax write off......inquire within....

On the plus side I am taking my Corvette down for its maiden voyage since getting it all hopped up......so that's a good thing....right?

other than that it was a regular day..... Uboy home for spring break....refrigerator is stocked......

gotta roll......see you on the flip flop......

Morning guys....slept in a little this morning. Rosie is making breakfast. I'll work in the shop a while and might take some time away to wash the car or the pickup today, both need it, but only time for one today.

Fun times, Marcus. Think on the bright side, it could have been Colby, or Garden City. Hey if it had been GC you could have come down to visit me!

Greetings! I slept in past 10, still working on making up that lost hour. I had thoughts of bringing the Vette home this weekend, but the extended forecast doesn't look promising, so I guess I'll wait a bit. We still have some snow from our last blast, too.

Spring must be right around the corner - I had to run an errand, and saw 3 cars with dogs hanging out the window.

Hey guys, I got the panels ready this morning. I decided to clean the car up. Gave it a bath, clay barred it and put a sealant on. I vacuumed it and the pickup out (maybe I'll wash the pickup tomorrow). I also dropped 007 down and clayed and sealed the front end of the Corvette, too.

Ready to go to church, I'm reading and ministering again tonight. It's been a really pretty day, mid 70s and breezy. Tomorrow they are talking low 90s.....yes you are seeing that right 90s.

Yeah lots of drama in truck driving....... but I did get a great drive in my awesome Corvette.......cruises just perfect....until you step on the loud peddle........yikes!

Gonna go watch the race now......wish I was there.....it is a real fun time but very loud also.......and lots of not so good for you food types.......

BEEN A BEAUTIFUL DAY, 77 DEGREES ACCORDING TO THE CAR. PUT THE TOP DOWN ON THE TOMATO AND WENT FOR A DRIVE OUT BY THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE COUNTRY. DARLING WIFE FEELING KINDA PUNY, RIDE PUT HER IN A BETTER MOOD.

I WAS ANNOYED THAT THE SUN VISORS WOULD BLOW BACK AT HIGHWAY SPEED, SO I TRIED MAKING A BRACE TO MAKE THEM STAY STRAIGHT. RESHAPED A PIECE OF ALUMINUM MOLDING INTO A DEEP "U" SHAPE THAT FITS OVER THE TOP OF THE VISORS AND GOES ALL THE WAY ACROSS, TIED IT ON WITH VELCRO STRIPS AND IT WORKS, AT LEAST SO FAR---
