yesterday revisited
I was going to start on the bathroom out back when ....... Ring ...... Can you bring me a Senna tree to the jobsite? ..... Sure .... Why not? ...... 2 1/2 hours later I get back. Figure I'll take a little nap and then start out back. Luckily, it was after my nap. ....... Ring ........... The mechanic called. The skidsteer is done. ...... OK I'll go pick it up .......... 2 hours later ..... I start doing a few house chores. Around 05:30 I start cleaning up around the bathroom area and work till dark. ...... Are you coming in? Dinner's ready in 5 minutes. Guess I'm done for the day. Have a couple of morning errands and gonna see if I can get back there and do more prep. Have a bit of demolition to do on before I can get started on the floor and walls. |

My Grand Sport may appear today.....it was going to be here yesterday but the driver of the rig got sick and could not make the trip...... drive sick damit........... Hope you all have a wonderful fulfilling day...... |

Morning guys...Tommy got the jump on me this morning. It's already above freezing (not sure it got down to freezing actually) and it is calm out there (not sure how long that will last). In for a cold snap tonight and tomorrow. Supposed to be 20 degrees cooler tomorrow than today.
I have cabinets to install today, then start on the next one. Neighbor (whose bathroom we are working on) is headed out of town tomorrow or Saturday morning for spring break, so I'll have all next week to try and get there stuff done. Well, I better get myself together. |

Agreed - he should drive sick Marcus. If they only knew that "on the way to Disneyland for a 5-year-old" feeling is like while you're waiting for something like that. I'd be pacing the floor wearing a hole in it.
Matter of fact I did that last night, but whole different reason. Hip hurt bad couldn't sleep for nothing. Gonna make for a long day as tonight is the finish up on the motor assembly for the Mustang at the shop as the needed part came in yesterday. I figure while BF does the engine I'll go to the other bay and pick up where I left off blocking on the '65. Anyone needing a dose of summer can come here - but today only. 74 and sunny outside and I'd give anything to be off at home then work Saturday. It'll be 50 and snowing then, they say. Arkansas.... |

Carnival cruise line sends me deals I can't refuse. First deal I took was a 7 day out of Miami in June. Cayman Islands, Belize City, Roatan Island Honduras, Cozumel Mexico, back to Miami. Cost us $375 complete. Port fees, taxes and insurance. Today I booked a 5 day for $625 with a $100 cabin onboard credit making it $525, complete for the two of us. Goes in April to Nassau and Half Moon Cay Bahamas then Grand Turk, back to Miami The difference was the first one was a free cabin. The second one was $150 each and we get $100 cabin credit. That's the vacation plans for the first half of the year. Cruising in about 6 weeks. Gives me something to look forward to. WWwwwwwooooooooooooooooooottttt !!! |

Old Black Pete... Mama's down and wearing a frown... just shakes her head and mumbles around... Papa quit his day job at the dairy mucken..... bought an old Black Pete and went back to trucken.... He tried his best but couldn't rest.... the highway song was jus to strong.... now mama's mad, says she's stuck and Papa went and bought that damned black truck.... Black as coal with 8 inch stacks... 18 gears and a 70 inch rack.... calls it Crow cause its black and it flies ever time it starts, mama cries.... Daddy smiles as he puts on the miles.... mama's doing better, mostly has quit her bitchin... Papa went and bought her a brand new kitchen.... and a new Tahoe.....and that vacation to Vagas.... Lordy, now Mama loves that old black Pete.... let's him keep it out on the street....... Now Papa's happy and Mama's not stuck now everybody loves that old black truck.... We get to go to Disney this summer...... |

Never saw that book, need to give it a read.
she says my hip flexor muscle is torn, and it also hurts where it's attached to my bone but doesn't think I've torn that totally loose or else I'd not be able to move it. gonna be a slow process she says. she does ultrasound (deep heat) on there then the tens, then some huge sticky thing with a wire and medicine on it that stays on for 14 hours. not sure what that does |

I guess it is good to be a "high roller", Tommy. Catchy tune Brad! Not sure how those lyrics will fit in though.
Cabinets installed! Not without some "talking to" though. The one wall was WAY out of plumb, about 5/8" in 34". I had to cut into the sheetrock to allow the bottom of the face frame to move far enough. But once done I doubt they will ever know one way or the other. The tops went on without a hitch.
