Good morning gang.

Well it's half way through the first month. It's gone by pretty quick.

Cool here today with temps in the low 20's and higs in the mid 20's. Some snow flurries throughout the day with less than an inch accumulating. It's also a bit windy here.

lets get going.

Word of the Day Wednesday, January 15, 2014

hornswoggle\ HAWRN-swog-uhl \, verb;

1. to swindle, cheat, hoodwink, or hoax.

Origin:

Hornswoggle is of unknown origin. It entered in America in the 1820s.

Howdy! Winter has returned, it's a balmy 2 degrees. I think I'll amble down to Walgreen's and grab some cold medicine - my wife and son have been sick for about a week, and it feels like perhaps they have finally managed to infect me. Ducky!

Have a good day, all!

Good ole Wallgreens we finally got one here in town a few years back and it does a land office business....that means a lot.....I am of big fan of Comfort Gel for my indigestion or bad gasses....I highly recommend it...

Warm and windy here again today so I will be in office getting some sales done. A nap after lunch will be recommended.

Just work and routine stuff here and I ain't complaining...routine is fine for me....have a routine day Guru's.....

Brought Schatzie to the vet this morning to be spayed. We were too late to get her done before her first heat cycle in November. What a mess. 3 weeks of cleaning up behind her. They're gonna remove her hornswoggle so that won't be an issue anymore. She hates going to the vet. Every time she goes there they do something that hurts her. Dogs have good memory. Let's see what I'll get into today. Tonight is game night. Cold front starts to move in tonight. 40's tomorrow.

Ya, routine is safe. It's the stuff that's out of the routine that tends to be a major pain in the ass.

Yes, I know a flatlander wouldn't know what "being up in the mountains" means.

The garage door will be open to let the sun in at 10 a.m.

Humidity won't be a concern.

I am still digging the "Working Hands" stuff. My hands are usually like sandpaper this time of year, and one of the things I look forward to about our winter Mexico trip is that my hands get back to normal after a day or two down there. The Working Hands is almost like being in Puerto Vallarta, except for the lack of 80 and sunny, ocean breezes and a beach waiter bringing me an endless supply of tasty beverages.

Me too, Brad. I bought some of that stuff and it's helping my hands. I bought some of the foot stuff for the wife. She's liking it too.

Early morning meeting was a joke, as usual. I volunteered to do a couple drawings, so I'll put one of my drafting stufents on that today... I love being able to delegate....

Ya, Floridians take these check out infractions very seriously. Did you hear about the retired police Captain that did not like the guy texting during the previews? He was the former Chief of Security at Busch Gardens in Tampa. The offender won't be texting anymore.

I avoid those self checkout lanes at all cost. I figure using them just gives the merchant justification to not hire someone to run the register.

They're a pain, you ALWAYS have to wait for the "checkout monitor" to come over and log in so you can scan the code on your 12 pack.

Bill, the checkout girl was amazed that she was supposed to verify ID for N/A beer. I told her it has 0.05% alcohol and if you drink 30 of them you might get a buzz. I think the buzz comes from being overhydrated though.

I got a case of the don't give a craps today too, the day is dragging by. One customer was due in here yesterday to finalize a wrap, never showed. He's already paid a deposit you'd think he'd be in here. The other won't reply to my email where I sent proofs of the trailer side A, so I'm trying to do side B which is like peeing in the dark in the wind...
