Good Morning CGs!

5:30 in the morning on my day off. I guess that means it's time to get up Phone call woke me up this morning, so I guess I'm up. Couldn't get back to bed. I'll probably get some chores done, maybe take a dip in the pool since it's quiet and I'm by myself. Wife and kids are at the in laws since she was supposed to work today, but once again they called her off. That gets old quick. That was the phone call, btw.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Matthew

This sounds like a story from Homestead, FL:

www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime ... g-hurled-at-wife-over-pig

And the quote of the day is:

"Mr Willis said the pig's latest antics set Russell off. Russell admitted he acted inappropriately by spitting at his wife but said he threw the egg expecting she would catch it. "

This story will make you sick - In Chicago, three gang bangers decide to beat and rob a 62 year old man, father of 12, ultimately causing his death. Then they post it on facebook.

Greetings! Cooling down today to only 90, yahoooo! Air conditioning ranks right up there with duct tape, Velcro and the snowblower on my "Mankind's Greatest Inventions" list.

Have a good day, Gurus!

After pukin' up Boon's farm in my 20's, I thought that all wine tasted like cat piss.

Then in my late 30's, I moved close to Napa Valley and was on an expense account.
I found out that a $100 bottle of wine was some exceptional stuff, so good that it shouldn't even be consumed with a meal.

Mid priced wine tastes.....better than cat piss....but I don't buy them.

Sure miss that expense account.

WWE night at our house last night.....I just don't get it but I did really used to like Roller Derby back in the day so I guess I should't say anything.....

Back in the day, WWE, WWF, WW whatever was fun. Back then it resembled wrestling and wasn't just another soap opera.

Now Roller Derby, there was a real sport, nothing fake there. Bay Area Bombers, Northwest Pioneers great stuff there.

Heat advisory here in northeast Ohio today until 9 pm. Not going to be a fun day.

Back in the late 60'a or early 70's The Bay area Bombers with the Blond Amazon came to Lincoln and they packed the place out...what a hoot....I can't remember who they skated against but the Bombers killed them...much to our delight...Nasty women....

Now that's sports ! Good clean cut guys and gals out having fun.

A Wild Irish Rose flashback.

Two cars loads of us headed to the drive-in movies. We usually brought whatever we could procure and commenced to getting wasted in the two hours it took for the movie to run.One of the guys had gone to the bathroom but had been gone for an unusually long time. He had been hitting The Rose pretty hard. There in the bathroom stall was my amigo, lying on the floor with his pants down around his ankles mumbling some inaudible language. We managed to get him to his feet and walked him back to the car where he slept for the next couple of hours. A look back at a Wild Irish Rose moment. The Boones was usually the ladies drink. They liked Strawberry Hill most of the time. I was a fan of a half pint of Seagrams and a six pack of Bud. I usually had a Sucrets tin too but there weren't any Sucrets in it. It was the perfect size to hold a few ......nevermind .......
