I have a 94 base coupe with electronic climate control,with the ac off the primary fan and ac compressor still run?Any help with this would be great.

The compressor should not run in this condition...
I would wonder if there is a problem in the climate control head or programmer. I will have to check my helm manual and see what I can regarding troubleshooting this bug. |

I will confirm this today... I got wrapped up in rebuilding my wifes laptop yesterday... never made it out to the garage!!!

I am leaning towards a failed relay.
I don't have the 1994 book, but I suspect the system is pretty much the same from 1992 to 1996. Depending on auto or manual transmission, there are 1 (a/t) or 2 (man) relays on the left front inner fender. I would start there. |
