Subject: Sunday Chat 05.05.13 by Matatk on 2013/5/5 11:56:15 Good Morning CGs! The sun is out and the weather should be pleasant today. I tried to go to the parts store last night but got there at 5:45 and they close at 5:00. Darn it. I thought it was 6:00. Oh well. So I came home and cut the grass again (it grew ridiculously fast in the last 4 days). Looks good now. The new weed whacker will take some getting used to, I can't explain it but it's different. Spins much faster, easier to drop it in the grass and make a bald spot. Definitely good quality. Wife and FIL are taking RR#1 to the county fair a few counties over. He buys chickens and whatnot for the yard and for soup. I'd never had fresh chicken soup until recently...and by fresh I mean kill the chicken Saturday morning and cook it Saturday afternoon. The difference in taste/flavor vs a store bought chicken is amazing. My FIL grew up in a farm area in Poland, so that's what he is used to. I've never killed a chicken and have no desire to do so.
