Did I mention how excited I was over my tire deal I made?  Also discovered I was out of clean jeans so I went fumbling through the closet for something to put on. Tried on a couple pairs of older jeans. One pair fit great, even loose in the waist but I hated them, too low rise. The other pair fit great, haven't worn them in two years so I wore those. Tried on one more pair that didn't fit yet and found $4 in the pocket. Those jeans I'd not worn in probably 3+ years. Small amount of cash but it's enough for a lotto ticket. And, my cousin in the nursing home insisted I take $50 from her Christmas gift buying money and get myself something for all I have done for her. I'd rather not, that's too much money. She gets irritated at me so I say "ok I will". Well, I put $30 with it and got a Lifeproof case for my iPhone5. Been wanting one even when I had the old phone. I'd say I've had my blessings this weekend. I also found a deal on some phone service for her that will save her $50 a month between her home and cell phones. Now she's happy too. I'm still not putting up a damed tree, though. Bah humbug. I'm a grinch kinda gal. |
