Backing up a bit, they canned my boss a few months ago without bothering to find out how he did some of his monthly statistics gathering. Dumped it on several of us with the standard "figure it out" instructions. Hell, we don't even know what it is let alone where it comes from. Well, I got my part figured out. Last Wednesday I get the e-mail that says "I need the stats for Oct. By end of day Friday." I supply them before noon on Thursday. Today I get an e-mail 3 hours before the meeting to review them that there is an error and I need to get it fixed. Miracle worked. I need a brick wall to beat my head against. Sorry for the rant, needed to vent a bit. |
