Well I'm back...almost nine hours of driving. The Dr. report is good. He says I am way ahead of the game, in every aspect. He was very impressed with my range of motion (0 to 140). He said most patients never see 140* and with that type of motion I should be able to do anything (within reason). I asked about more therapy, "You don't need therapy any longer". He explained my new knee and what he did while looking at my x-rays, told me he was happy to hear that I am riding my bike. Explained my pains, why I was having them and that they would go away soon. Normally he has his patients come back in at 14 weeks, but he told me not to worry about that one, but to come back at my one year anniversary. "Get on with your life", were his parting words. He spent a good 15 minutes with us.

I must admit, my knee is stiff this evening, but doesn't bother me anymore after talking to Doc. The Corvette ran great, the AC was good and cold, gas mileage was 28.2 on the trip. Temps on the way home ranged from 103 in Wichita all the way up to 111 in central Kansas and back down to 99 when we pulled into town here.

it was a good day, but I'm glad to be home.
