I picked up a cabinet job and I told them I could have it done by Christmas, so with the day off school, I worked my azz off in the shop. I had a call mid morning to help a guy on a project he was working on, so that took 2 1/2 hours out, but I still got the cabinet carcasses put together by time to fix supper. I had the three grandsons here with me today as well, so it's been a zoo. The wife worked this morning and then she had a clinic scheduled to give out the H1N1 to kids and pregnant women late this afternoon and until 7pm. She's still not home as now she has to do the paperwork. The daughter came by just a few minutes ago and picked up the boys, so it's finally quiet here. Tomorrow looks like another day in the shop, building the face frames, drawers and doors. I have to get these things pretty far along as Thanksgiving we are headed back to KC to work on the #3 daughters project of converting the garage to a master bedroom suite. |
