I am shifting direction... the entire LT1 thing was a bad idea, apparently. There really isn't much support for transplantation with these things.

As my motor ages, it is becoming apparent I need to do something... so...

Here is the new plan:

LSx for bastets 87 and take the LT1 from her car, do some bolt on power adders and put it in mine. Haven't decided how nuts, but it is a 96 LT1 with about 60k miles on it. So it should be ok. I am going to open it up and make sure there isn't any rust inside and oil it up really well (wrist pins, things like that). I am thinking cam, 1.6:1 rollers and heads.

I will still have my old LT1 that I can then build the bottom end on as time and $$ permit.
