Below the large variable window (where ALDL Dash items are normally being monitered), you'll see 5 tabs.

ALDL Values
ALDL Dash
ALDL Flags
ALDL Monitors
Item Comments

About the 3rd item down on the ALDL Flags tab is the Open Loop status. It'll say OPEN or CLOSED.
