A kidney belt is no longer required.
Rough roads not only don't bother it, but the car has grip on them to boot.

That got my attention.

Which coilovers? Shocks? Spring rates?

Penske double adjustables with Hardbar dual rate springs.
I bought them used off another forum member for $2,500.
and converted them for use on a C4, C5/6's use different ends.
The beauty about these is that you can rebuild them yourself right at the track.
You can have all the power in the world, but if you can't get it to the ground, it won't do you any good.

The dual rate springs can be fitted to any coilover shock.

In the past..
you could either pick a spring that would make it handle great on a flat track, but bouce all over the place on a rough road.
Or you could pick a soft compliant spring that would give it a great ride, stick to the little bumps, but do poorly when the going got fast.

But that's no longer the case...
With the dual rates, you have a soft spring that not only helps with rough roads, but helps you stick to them better as well. Then the stiff springs kick in when they are needed. So, in a sense, they are self adjusting as well.
