the MSD means multi-spark discharge.

In short, you are arc welding the cap/rotor. Everytime the coil fires, it is blowing out several zaps. To me, it is abusive to the coil and the cap/rotor.

EVERY hot rodder I talk to has had these things fail. It is either the biggest urban myth or the biggest flop. I don't know.

If it was me, I would have gone with www.eficonnection.com and convert over to a full on LSx ignition.

If money grew on trees I would of prob went that route. I have spent enough allready with this 421 project.....

Found a sweet spot for the coil and MAP sensor today. Next is fabbing up a bracket for the MSD.
