In short, you are arc welding the cap/rotor. Everytime the coil fires, it is blowing out several zaps. To me, it is abusive to the coil and the cap/rotor.

EVERY hot rodder I talk to has had these things fail. It is either the biggest urban myth or the biggest flop. I don't know.

If it was me, I would have gone with www.eficonnection.com and convert over to a full on LSx ignition.
